New Purchase Advise Needed

I am thinking of buying a new or slightly used CLS 5oo or 550 but I have read about so many problems and have experienced my own with the E and S series. - Widow issue - Paint issues - transmission issues and so on.

Do you feel that there has been given more attention to the workmanship in the CLS series new body design?

Is it worth the money or should I be looking to the entry level bentley Flying Spur

No problem thus far with my CLS 550. Best built MB I have owned so far. Check one out yourself if you can, if you are familiar with MB vehicles, you should be able to tell right away.
Not sure why you are comparing CLS to the Bentley FS. To me they are different level vehicles.

Used CLS 500

I just bought a used CLS 500 three months ago. I have not experienced any problems other than the tires deflated a little quickly and the warning light came on 2 times in the last 3 months. Every time, I just took it to the nearest dealership and pumped some air and reset the light and left.

I suggest you check the CARFAX (if it is available for your country) and the service history from MB before you buy that specific one. The service history is very important, which tells you all the warranty work performed.

Go for the CLS 550. Is a little more $ compare to the 500 but is worth every single penny.
