**It Has Arrived**

I am new to this particular board, and have read many of the posts here. I just purchased a Silver CLS 550 w/blk inside. I love the car and am thrilled. My question is, where can I get the CLS 63 spoiler? I would like to add it. The dealer wants $400.

Thanks,

Lifesgud

$400 is a good price for the real deal. Where are you located? Dealers in CA asking for $600.

I agree thats a good price. Especially if that is installed. I just had the dealer install one on my new CLS550 and it cost $580. It comes painted and is attached with an industrial adhesive. The application process required surface prep, etc. so not a 3M two sided tape job like you see on Ebay. I left it to the dealer because with the high powered adhesive you only get one shot to get the spoiler in the right spot. They admitted to missing the mark with one in the past and it was a huge mess to remove and replace. Adding the spoiler was definetly worth the $$$. I installed a CLS63 front grill at the same time. Don't waste your money for a dealer installed front grill. Three bolts and 5 minutes to change. The spoiler and grill totally changed the look of the car in my opinion.

I bought mine off Ebay for $250 and it looks great and have no issue whatsoever why waste money going to the dealer? its the same damn spoiler anyway don't let em fool you you know everything bought at the dealer is overpriced. Ebay even has the window spoiler either as a pkg or seperate and it still is on around $500 for both and yes its painted

Special K, I didn't mean to offend with the ebay comment. I agree that ebay is a great source for parts. I bought a used CLS55 front grill for $51 instead of paying the dealer $560. When it came to the rear spoiler, for my money I chose to know I was getting the right part and it was going to stay put. Sometimes it is hard to tell what you are paying for by looking at one low resolution picture.
