I am looking at getting a CLS but i am also looking at a Cayman/Cayman S or possible a CLK. I dont know i love the CLS, just not sure if i can handle the automatic.

seeing as 99 percent of the people in this forum have a cls i guess you might say the answers you are going to get won't include the p word

2010 RRS ; BMW K1200R; 14 E350 ; 14 RRS on order
I actually considered the Caymen S as an option too. It's a great car, but about as impractical as they get. No room for storage AT ALL!!

No room anywhere really, and no creature comforts. I thought it was very fast though and handled very well.

I would go with a CLS AMG or one with the AMG package at least.

This is a funny thread cause I went thru this also either the Porshe or the CLS I decided with the CLS I think that look and the 4 door and everything pushed me towards the CLS but you can't really compare them maybe. I don't know good luck.

Gayman is a great handler....but I would take the CLS all day long over it... ALL DAY LONG. 997 would be a different story.

Why would you take the 911? I am considering one as a replacement for my CLS, but I am afraid it would be too cramped and uncomfortable for a daily driver...it's a much smaller car

A 911 is a true sportcar and has incredible handling, great heritage and lots of class.....the CLS is a awesome looking 4 door coupe that is well awesome looking =). If you have other cars to drive when you need more space and really want a true sportscar, then the 911 is where its at.....if you want a daily driver that is more comfortable but also looks very sporty, then the cls is a great choice IMO. The Gayman is great but I would never spend money on one. How long have you had the CLS?

I have had the CLS nearly 2 yrs now (March 05) - I agree with u on the 911's place in the automotive world - not sure if it's a car I can live with daily. Might opt for the CLS63 instead....

For a daily I would have a tough time deciding but the CLS63 would be less stressful if that makes sense....the P-car rides rougher and sits lower....but to some its a perfect daily.
