CLS350 20" rims?
I am wondering if 20" rims would fit the CLS350?
Currently I have the stock 18" with 245/45/18 all-around, but would like to change to something like:
255/30/20 for the front
295/25/20 for the rear
will it fit on my CLS350?
thanks.

1.- Can you tell us or suggest us the names of the manufacturers for a) the rims and b) tires mentioned above?
2.- Do you know if these dimensions are possible for the CLS 350 cgi that has AIRMATIC DC ?
Thanks in advance

In my research on the board most people that go with 20 in wheels are running the sizes Tezta mentioned above.. I am awaiting mine in the same size.. I wouldnt think the 350 body-wise would be much different than the american series so you should be fine.. I would just do a search on the board with your body style number and see what additional info you can find. Correct me if i'm wrong guys but i'm sure all of our cars have airmatic suspension.
good luck !!!
P.S.. go to the photo section on the cls and amg cls board you will find a variety of discussion on rims and various companies.. HRE, Lowenhart, Asanti, Lorinser, MHT, Vallano, etc etc..

Lowering Module
Hi, Would like to get some tips on lowering my CLS500. Should i just lower it or use Module. Only lowering it will cost me $100-$200 may be less but module is almost $2000. Please advise. Also should I put wheels before loweirng it or after. Right now I have 18" with 245 front and 275 back. Thinking to have 255 front and 305 back.

ez4mobi - ill get some pics posted up tomorrow, the ones i have are terrible in quality.
RINGK - You can use a few different tire models, right now im using the Yokohama advan sport which are more square sidewalled, they give a more beefy look, however if you are going to lower the car try to make sure the offsets are not too aggressive in the rear or use a more rounded sidewall like the continental sport contact 2, I know conti has a new model out called sport contact 3 however im not sure if the sideall is rounded or not.
Right now my wheels are HRE 20x9 et 24 and 20x11 et25. The fronts are perfect however the rear with the Yokohama tire are right on the edge of the fender, lowering the car would be difficult in my opinion unless i roll the fender and adjust the camber a bit.
FYI my car does not have the AIRMATIC system so i cannot really comment on that.

you'll find people that swear by the modules and people that like the links.. for me i can go out there and put the factory links back on in less than an hour.. I can adjust each front in 10 minutes without taking the wheel off.. The rear takes alittle longer cause you have to jack the car up and put it on stands but once you get to the link it's a 10 minute deal as well..
search the forum using the word lowering or something like that and you can read everyone's posts.. pros and cons and some photos including how low people are going..
