Im new to this site, but I have had my 06 CLS 500 for about a year now.
About 3 months after I purchased my benz, I learned that the 550 was just coming out.
Can someone tell me the differences between the 500 and 550. I know that the engine is bigger, but is it really noticeable? Also, what are some inexpensive things that I can do to Sport up my CLS?
Thanks,
Newman
Heres pics of my ride:

Nothing with MB is inexpensive.
Tires and rims are really number 1. If you can find a shop that pulls OEM AMG rims and tires you might get a good deal, if not, plan to spend $1.5-2K on tires and another $1- 2K on rims.

welcome.
I recommend you swap out the side markers for either clear or painted, check eBay. Change the stock pedals to the Aluminum AMG pedals....you can find these on eBay as well. Change the black door pins to some chrome pins to match the other chrome accents in the car.
Those are all cheap mods, after that I would get some nice rims and tint the windows. The AMG front grill is also a really nice upgrade.
good luck.

yup, you can get those on eBay. I only replaced the pins....thought the surroundings were overkill.
