Lots of Goodies =)
Just got my SprintBooster today and installed. The Job is actually quite simple. Followed the directions on one of the posting on the forum. The SprintBooster made all the difference in the world as in acceleration from stop or on the go. It takes a few seconds to adjust to the new throttle response but after that, it make driving the CLS much more interesting. I would say this is a GREAT mod =)
My Brabus Exhaust is coming tomorrow(tuesday) I will take some pix/video clips of it once I get it all set up. (Thanks to JoeyBenz106 with the awesome price)
The K&N AirFilters will also be here tomorrow
Then in a few more weeks my Vellano VSH black/chrome 20's will be here =) (Thank you BlackC230Coupe)
Will keep the forum updated on the goodies with pic/vid as i get them on.
If all goes well, RennTech ELM will be on its way very very soon. Get it pack and ready to ship it to me JoeyBenz106!!!

Yup! Got the exhaust today, had to track down the UPS guy so I can get it early in the morning and get it installed. Here are some pix
The weather is pretty lame today, so I didnt get a chance to take any good pictures of the car and the new exhaust. Will do that once the weather clears =)

keeping most of the stuff stock, just gonna replace the airfilters, add an exhaust, sprintbooster to help with the acceleration so its not such a big difference going from CLS(with a sprintbooster) into a G wagon(without sprintbooster). Also doing the HID conversion, but im keeping the reflector houseing, not going with the projector lens housing. I like the old school G look.
HID, and air filter, are on their way, exhaust can be done anytime in a local shop, gonna get the sprintbooster soon =)
will keep people who reads this updated with pic once i get them in and installed.
Ps- I havent forget about the sound clip for the brabus, I will do it soon =) been messing with the G a lot these few days
PPS- the G's previous owner is by a lady with the last name Perot, yes, related to Ross Perot, its actually his niece, i thought that is a pretty cool info to share =)

CLS 350
xiaohan82-do you think that the sprint booster would be GREAT mod for my 350, I mean will I feel the difference? And by looking at the brabus exhaust with the standard bumper I think it looks OK! Because I wanted the 4 pipes look without replacing the bumper, what do u think? Does it look better than the original 2 pipes?

I think you should feel a big difference in your 350. I def did when i installed it. Took me a few min to get use to the throttle response and acceleration, but it is fun to drive once u get a hang of it =) I personally like the 4pipe look much more than the stock exhaust. I had my bumper cut just a little bit(thanks to the template Brabus gave me, it was an easy job) If you like, i will take more pictures tomorrow and post a video with sound. Idling, revving, and drive-by.
But, the sprintbooster is a good mod, I am going to get it for my G500 too =)
PS-my exhaust will be louder just because I replaced the stock CATs with high flowing cats and took out the resonator. At idling, it sounds normal, slightly louder growl than stock, low RMP its a nice loud growl, but once u hit high RMP/speed, its F'ing beautiful. Smooth, low deep tone...gotta love that.

CLS 350
xiaohan82- may I ask where did you get it from (sprintbooster)?
And yes please post some pics and vids of the rear bumper so I can get a clearer view on how it looks with the standard bumper.
Appreciate your reply

I am not familiar with the ebay thing on this forum so im not gonna post the direct link, but go to ebay and search for "Sprint Booster BDD451A Mercedes Benz, Crossfire, Auto T" =) it will def come up. if not, gimme a PM and i will send u the direct ebay link/buyer store.
Will do on the pictures, hope u can wait until tmr, and you are welcome, glad to be of help.

Great. yup, $280 then $20 for S/H. It got here(Eastern US) from Hong Kong really fast. Less than one wk(including processing time and everything else). Personally, I think its a great buy/mod for $300. makes driving the CLS even more interesting.

Quick question...
Hey guys I am pretty sure that the K&N's are the way to go (using them for years), isn't there 2 filters though? My car is being delivered Friday just checking to be sure. That's a first I will change.

Oil filter..
I wanted to use the K&N oil filters, anyone ever use them? I will search around on the board some.
What would be the best oil filters to use?
