Are 20 inch Rims worth it ? Tire Wear, etc?
This is a question to all those with 20 inch Rims... do you have any regrets...

1. Faster Rear Tire wear ?
2. Harsher Ride ?
3. Uncomfortable ?


Thanks ! I am thinking of upgrading the Rims on my car to 20's and before shelling out $7000 I want to make sure I'm not making a mistake...

2006 CLS500 with 55 AMG motor, 2008 Infiniti G35, 2000 Plymouth Grand Voyager
21" wheels here, and no regrets at all. But this is not my every day driver. If I lived in one of the warmer states with better weather and better roads I would throw wheels on all my cars.

Definately worth it. No Regrets.

You will have to be more conscious not to curbrash/potholes.

Silver CLS550, Blk M45, Lexus GX470 & an endless fleet of Avis Premium Rental Cars
Keep in mind that a lot of these newer lux cars are coming with 20's. 20's are the new 18's

since the tires are so thin at the rear, most likely the sidewall will wear out before the tread does.

as most people would tell you, getting 20" wheels is no longer much of a problem...
