I am looking to get another CLS within the next two weeks, and was wondering what others have paid...so far, I have heard of 5% off...anyone beat that discount?

There are no current marketing incentives other than lease specials for CLS550 check: http://www.mbusa.com and http://www.edmunds.com/incentives/Re...centives.1.1.*

Propose an employee discount price match MSRP – 12.25% and have the Sales Manager counter given this article http://www.signonsandiego.com/uniont...1b19ports.html Unless you are ordering a CLS63 which may be a little harder to negotiate, I would suggest to definitely not purchase or lease for more than advertised invoice (i.e.: MSRP – 7%).

Thanks for your response! I have been following the sales figures for MB and the CLS in particular, and CLS's are not flying off the lots (only 224 units sold in the US in Nov, less than 200 in Oct). The car I am looking at has been on the lot for nearly 3 months, so I would expect at least the amount off you suggest. Thanks again!

Purchase of new 2009 CLS 550

I too am looking to buy a new CLS 550 and given the economy and all the changes was wondering what some of you have paid for your CLS 550's. What do you think is a good price for a new CLS 550?

Given the following options: Illuminated door sills, P1 PKG, Parktronic and Trim Package.

Take the MSRP and first offer -25%.
I bet you settle on -20% off MSRP.

20 maybe too much

20% is a little deep...

I just got my MY08 last week @ around 20% off but MBUSA was giving $8k away already and it was the last one on the lot and xmas eve...

for the MY09 I would think 15% below MSRP would be 'reasonable' so around low 70 range for a P1 + amg sports pkg.

The most off msrp I have gotten so far from my dealer inquiries is 7%...that seems fair for an '09 right now
