Are there 2006 CLS tranny issues?

It has been a while since I have owned a Mercedes. (had ML320 and CLK430 years ago) I am about ready to pull the trigger on a sweet 2006 CLS500 with 20k miles. I have read online about the possibility of transmission jerking/slipping/etc. issues in the CLS500 models. I have only found a few brief blogs on the matter with little info and couldn''t find much info outside of that. How prevalent are the issues/% of cars affected? Should it be a concern to me or since it is covered under factory warranty, do I have nothing to worry about? Have the issues been resolved with TSB or whatever or are there other issues I should worry about? Please advise.

I have seen threads on mercedes forums discussing jerky/slipping tranny problems on some 2006 CLS500 models. just google it and you will find them. Even the local dealer said he heard of that, but they could fix them. Just checking to see if anything that I have to worry about.

Where can you find a list of option codes and what they mean? I am pulling the trigger on this car and am very excited.

Actually is it uncomfortable shift quality 1-2., 3-2, and 2-1 for all models equipped the 7-speed transmission. If experienced mention DTB S-B-27.60/61j NOV08 and the dealer will diagnose cause inclusive of replacing valve body if need be.

PM your email address and VIN I will send a MB datacard listing equipment, initial delivery date, etc.

Thank you very much, but I got all this info from my local MB dealer before purchase. Not sure if all CLS500's have this, but according to the VMI, it has an extended suspension warranty until 2015. I got the car on Christmas Eve so it was a good present. :P I ended up finding the previous owner through some searching of my own and they didn't have any transmission issues or any issues since they owned the car. Figuring out the navigation system is another issue...

the only thing I need is a driver's side floor mat which apparently you can only buy all four so if that is not the case and/or where to get, let me know. Also, I need another key. (not sure how much that is going to cost or where to get besides the dealer...no keyless go)

when starting off, mine seems to have a bit of a click when shifting.

I destroyed the tranny on my brothers 06 CLS in the canyons when it had about 20,000 miles on it. Lol. I guess that was a problem.
