I finally had a day off, and used the time to take some good pics.

Looks great! I'm sure all of the little carbon pieces on your car look great in person. The rims are absolutely gorgeous, Makes me regret buying a black cls!

Massive awesomeness man (if that word exists). I just got a black CLS, but still looking for some affordable black rims that are similar to yours, and tinting the taillights, maybe some carbon fiber pieces. But I'm jealous of your's

Thanks again for the good feedback guys.
I've been to 2 shows so far with the new look. The car has been doing well so far. Here is a little video that I made.

How did you get the carbon insert inside the headlights? Did you ship your headlights off, or did you just take apart the headlight assembly and have them sealed back up? I'm asking because i want to paint the chrome parts of my headlights Black (like your carbon pieces, but painted).

I went through 3 different sets of headlights that were purchased at junk yards before being satisfied. Thanks again to Paul at IGT Automotive

I played with this idea for a while before I had the guts to pull it off, but it involves baking the headlights in the oven to melt the glue which allows them to come apart. My headlights used to be painted before I had them done in CF. When they come apart you need a star tip screw driver to take out the 5 screws holding the chrome piece. Make sure the sand and primer the parts before they paint them. The tabs on these pieces are very fragile. If they apply pressure to them while sanding they will break, and you will be screwed.

So what about sealing them back together? How did you manage that?
Very informative, thank you for the help! I Have already Painted the fins on the grill Black to match the car and left the star chrome, now i want more black!!!
What is everyone's thought on painting the inside of the headlights, think it will be too much black on the front end or will it look sick??
Does any1 know of a place to find junk yard parts for our CLS cars? I want to buy some extra headlights!

I think i come back to this thread at least once a week to look at the ride...
Khelewanb, I think that if you painted the trim around the windows Black or white it would look sick!
Also i've been having a hard time find out where some junk yards are, do you have any advice?

Try ebay. I jump on ebay sometimes and I see used/damaged headlights selling for $60.

Hey brotha! first of I have to say that you're COR's look amazing! I just want to ask a couple of questions since I'm trying to get a set for my car. I know they're COR's but what model is it? I went on the COR website but can't find it there. They look exactly like the straight 5ives. I was considering ordering from 360 but after reading 19 pages of terrible feedbacks about them I don't want to do it anymore just to be safe. I just wanted to know which model and how much it cost you.
