27.1 Highway MPG
Took a little roadtrip this weekend and was actually surprised at the mileage I got. Total was 210 miles, no traffic, non-stop...For the local people I went from the SFV to Fresno. Had it on cruise most of the way at 75mph, with a few runs to 85-90 to pass some cars. Average speed per the information display after door to door was 68mph.
On the way back I got 26.8 MPG. There was some road construction and we spent some time around 45mph. I forgot to check the average speed on the way back.

HA! Nice numbers Kar don. I was actually surprised at the numbers because a 4000+ car, with 400+ hp, with 4 passengers and a trunk loaded to the brim isn't supposed to do so well
Then again, I used to get 29.9MPG in the E350.

2009 Mercedes CLS 550 & 2009 GL450
My 2009 CLS 550 gets about 22 combined city/highway
My 2006 997s got about 15.
I save about $80 per month in gas and have a trunk that I can use, I have not bottomed out once, can carry my entire family comfortable and can get out of my own way when I want.

Interesting. About two months ago, I bought a 2008 CLS550. I am pleasantly surprised by the gas mileage it gets. I got 27.7 mpg on an 80 mile trip. About 60 miles of which was at a speed of 76 mph (cruise control). The first 5 miles were city driving and the last 15 miles were under stop and go condition on I-95 near Washington, DC. I notice that Kar Don and Roupin also reported over 27 mpg. Frankly I did not expect to get more than 22 mpg on highway and 13 mpg in the city. I usually get around 17.5 mpg in city driving.
