The interior looks good, but comparable to the W212's, and the A/C vents seem straight out of the C-Class. It doesn't have that "exclusive" look of the original CLS's interior, although I like this new ones design better all in all it seems.
All that said, I think it'll look hot in person, and I'm sure will have a presence. I can't wait to see it side by side with the old one to see how they stack up. The rear of this one is leagues better than the horrible rear of the OG CLS IMO, and the front headlights are much nicer than the OG CLS's other weak spot to me: Headlights. Also, it seems to sans the "Banana Shape", which is a good thing.

I guess I should start preparing for the CLS already.

BTW, is it me or is the front door handle higher than the rear one? Interesting as it's usually the opposite. I guess they're reversing the traditional "wedge" effect with downward sloping lines, and downward sloping handles, with the upward line and upward handles.

To me, there's a lot of art going on with this design, which makes sense, as the W212 is seen as perhaps too arty for its own good by some as well. So the CLS continues this indulgence of arty designing by M-B's Designers, however, problem is, things don't seem to come together. Perhaps it's irrelevant because all that detailing will make for a car that just pops out at you in person so much, you just have to love (or hate for that matter) it.
Whats the point of the third brake light being so low?!? I dont dislike it or like it I just dont get it. But I am in LOVE. lol
