Cls facelift taillights
Hi Jazz, I was wondering if you could help me and let me know how you got the taillights to work without the modules please. I have already bought taillights from the dealer just stuck on how to get them to work. Can you email me at adeem.munir1@gmail.com or PM me. My instagram is amg.one if that is more convenient for you, you can DM me. I would love to hear back from you please.
thanks
QUOTE=Jazz Gill;5608386]Hi guys, I know everyone is buying the modules, as it is easy to upgrade the lights with that, Unfortunately I can't afford the 200 euros for the modules especially if you have paid an arm and a leg for the tail lights. So what I did was upgrade it with out the modules and I'm surprised to say that it works perfectly. It was very easy to do. There is one slight niggle, but I guessing someone would be able to work it out.
If you are interested, I can do a write up of me updating the tail lights, its actually very easy and straight forward to do and it may allow you guys to hold fire before buying the modules. What do you guys think?[/QUOTE]
thanks

Hi I'm planning to upgrade the rear lights to LED. Reason is one brake lamp is burnt and I have to replace the whole bulb plate spending a thumping amount. if i spend slightly more I can buy facelift LED lamp clusters (after market not genuine) off eBay. Will it give an OBD error and are the sockets different between pre face lift and face lift?

Hello,
I wish to all a Happy New Year.
I've already sent a PM to 20 members, i've got an answer from half.
Please Check your Inbox.
For those that didn't have PM, please contact me if you're interested.
I'll give you more details.
On Saturday, i'll meet the Tech' and will post some pics of the final product, with some minor modifications (boxes, "IN" plug) etc...
I will also post the DIY for removing Old Tail lights and fitting the facelift ones.

Frenchy.
