That is, rather than having to ship my part away and get it programmed etc. I would prefer some sort of plug in unit that achieves similar results that I could simply unplug before taking back in to the dealer etc.
so this is just an ECU tune there is no exhaust pipe replacement correct?

Can dealer find out about ECU flash? or you risking factory warranty ?
Weistec tunes are completely un detectable by the dealership factory tools. The only way they would know is if you told the dealer or they actually took the car out and raced the two!!
The boost level is not disclosed by Weistec however, a way to take a look and find out exactly what it makes would be running a boost gauge, or looking at the parameters with a scan tool hooked up to the vehicle to see what it is making.
