Roll race Mercedes-AMG GT S vs McLaren 650S
With almost 150 less HP, the AMG GT did pretty well. It will be interesting to see what happens when a fully tuned GT runs against the likes of Mclaren, Ferrari, etc

Hate to admit it, but AMG got absolutely smoked. I was rather disappointed by how easily the McClaren just walked away.

For what it is worth, from a roll the SL550 easily beats my Ferrari 360 and is very close to my F430, all about torque and the SL has a MASSIVE amount. I know some guys have chipped their SL550's and are getting out ~ 525 HP, almost 100hp gain, I can only imagine what a well done tune for the GT will produce, 600HP+ ??

This race is a ZERO surprise--- the 650S is 10 mph faster in traps at least at the quarter. The "one" magazine that has our GTS's trapping at 127 mph adjusts for conditions. Even with a tune the 650S will still kill it. With that being said, I love the GTS and what it brings to the table.

I have both cars and it's truly amazing how different they are yet both 8 cylinder engines with twin turbos.
Love them both and have both tuned. The Mercedes is a beast when tuned and the McLaren.....a Spaceship...Lol.

The GT S is my daily driver and I enjoy driving it but the 650S is just special as it rides 10000 times better and the acceleration albeit doesn't punch you in the kidneys like the GT S(tuned) but the McLaren power delivery is much smoother and just outright faster.
And by the way, what's not Hot about this car? I think it looks pretty cool

yeah GTS never had a chance. it is severely under powered to the 650S, even with tuning i dont think it will be a whole lot closer! Benz needs to make another halo car that compares to the 650/458/huracan that has 650+ hp!!! or they could go bigger and go after the big boys like the Aventador and the Ferrari F12

Another question now that u guys mention it a bit of subject, i installed the x pipe where the resonator was and i kept that h pipe cross over before the secondary cats would that creat to much back pressure should i cut it off or leave it? And no i cant take the cats off Californistan wont be happy lol.
