Anyone able to get the edition 1 spoiler aftermarket?
I read in USA that you cannot order just the spoiler as an option on non-edition 1 cars but I really prefer the look.
Anyone able to order the part and install 3rd party?
Something about the electronic spoiler always raised looks funny to me.

I'm sure there is a part number with MB for repair or replacement reasons. I don't think there is one via aftermarket but there are tuning brands like Brabus that have wings.
The issue with getting one on a non Edition car is the electronic spoiler- you will need to have software to defeat it.

ECUwise I went with Weistec (non piggy) and have a thread here that you can search for. Its (ECU) easily reversible and updatable too. I have tried a few different tunes out where the tq limits were raised and capped just for driveability reasons. The gains are enormous via the sweet spot ranges in rpm's. I believe my gains in the usable ranges were 110hp and 134tq... the car is that much better. The updates take about 20 min from removal to reinstall of the ECU. Fortunately Weistec is 10 miles from me so I just drive there vs an overnight process. But the tune is safe with many metrics and measurements in play to ensure via data logging- the piggy will just bump your boost but you need to do more than just that to be safe.

Post pics when you acquire.
With current auction prices holding strong in the high 130's (135k to 138k) its gonna be a bit to 100k IMHO. Meanwhile the S63 coupe with its 185k plus sticker drops to 135k after just 1k miles at Manheim.

You can order the wing through any Mercedes parts department but you will need to have an Edition 1 VIN.
