Goodbye CLS63, hello GTS!
Hi all - been following this forum under the radar for a few months now, but yesterday I said farewell to my 2013 Tenorite Grey CLS63 so it's time to say hello. Have loved that car, but recently we bought a Disco Sport as a family motor, so I now have the chance to drive a 2 seater again. Happy days! 
UK spec GTS in Iridium silver with black interior arrives on March 1st. February is going to take a long time I can tell....

Congrats on the new car. I am sure the wait is killing you.
I am in the exact same situation where my better half traded a TT convertible for a Q5 so now I can go from my 13 CLS63 back to a 2 seater.
I am debating between the GTS, the Z06 and the new Vantage that should have the same engine as the GTS. A
Please give me your feedback when you get it.

It's being manufactured on the 11th apparently and then arrives in the country on the 18th. Should be with the dealer shortly thereafter, who's said I can come and have a look. The new '16 plate car registrations start March 1st, so better to wait a few days to make it officially at '16 plate car. In the UK this makes a difference in the event I want to sell it.
As for your choice, you'll have fun test driving all three cars I reckon! The dealer gave me a GTS for the weekend and my overriding impression was that was brutal. Personally the Vantage never appeared on my radar as it's getting pretty long in the tooth now and I like my modern tech. The new DB11 with the AMG engine is going to be pretty special though, but very much a GT car. As for the Z06, they don't make them in RH drive (I don't think?), but they look awesome and no doubt go like stink.
Have you thought of Mclaren 540C? Slightly more than my budget allowed, but if I could, I would...

I have driven the Z and the AMG. They are both very close in performance. The AMG wins when it comes to the interior and making you feel special but you dearly pay for it in the US. The GTS is roughly 40% more.
I am probably waiting till I can sit in the new Vantage to make my final decision.
The new 540C in the US is in the low 200s when you add a few options and is not what I want to spend. If budget allowed at that point, I would rather splurge, spend a little more and get the huracan.

^ US doesn't get the 540c as far as I know.
And I'm with you. The 570s options out at $210k without any carbon fiber. Great car but I'm waiting to see how it will depreciate.

You are correct, I meant the 570C. If it mirrors its bigger brother, I do not want to own a 570 and the only way would be a lease.

That's why I want to be the 2nd or 3rd owner of a low mileage 570C. Should probably find some in the $120K range in a year or two.
