So now I have to wait until Monday
Until then it sits in the Prep room over the weekend.
Wheel Specifications:
Wheel: ADV5.0 MV2 CS
Hardware: 50/50
Option: Matte Black CS Logo
Finish Disc: Matte Bronze
Finish Lip: Matte Bronze
Picked up the GTS this afternoon... It's a BEAST!!!! I will need to get used to the long hood. I have been driving rear/mid-engine or rear engine Porsches forever. I will have it a couple of days then it goes back for clear bra and tint. So far I LOVE IT!

Congrats!
I respect your taste and preference and more power to you if you don't care about the price.
In other words, just like some people feel that you pay a large premium for that star on the hood, I feel the same with ADV because HRE or Strasse just to name a few offer the same bling and quality for much less...

First off ADV.1 wheels are incredibly high quality. Others may have knocked off some of their designs. But you get what you pay for.
2nd bringing up HRE... I had the P101 that the PO had on the car. They were about $10K new. I have the ADV.1 5.0 2PC and paid less than that. So saying HRE is as good quality at a lower price is insane. Maybe if you're comparing a cast wheel to a forged wheel the prices drop.... again you get what you pay for. I have a McLaren that had an MSRP of $307K, OEM wheels cost $17K to replace. I really do not think ADV.1 wheels are only purchased by those with money to burn. I love these wheels, ordered them to my spec, at the end of the day their what I wanted with no compromise.
Last time I saw him at PBIR, he sure was happy.
The quality of the wheels are no better than the top brands. Perception is reality and ADV does an incredible job at marketing its brand.
I can assure you that ADV wheels do not cost more than $500 to manufacture and I am being generous. Each ADV letter however cost about $500...
It's with guys like you who do not seem to understand the value of a dollar and what it takes to manufacture a wheel that companies can overcharge and the final result is we get the MB tax...
Peace out...
I'm partial to Forgeline now. They seem to be more racing oriented and have better pricing.
