Is there a market for anyone to buy Edition 1 wheels? Thinking about getting some HREs and wondering if I could sell my stock wheels to anyone?

 

I've seen them on eBay for anywhere from $3900 to >$6k with tires/wheels.

 

I spoke to the dealership today and they said that the Edition 1 wheels are $1300 each for fronts and $1500 each for rears from MB USA.

 

I think there was a set of Edition 1 wheels on ebay not too long ago on sale for $3999 and the owner was willing to take best offers. The sets currently listed for $5000-$6000 are forged versions, and if I recall the Edition 1 wheels are not forged, which is very strange. To be honest with you, I don't think there is a huge market for GTS wheels because there aren't that many GTS cars around and any owner looking for wheels are probably going to go with the custom stuff. It would help if our wheels fit the new C63 AMG, but I don't think it does.

 

I agree it's definitely a small market for them out there. I may put them on eBay or just keep them in case I ever sell the car and the new owner wants the OEM wheels. I thought that they were forged, but I could be wrong??

I have my Forged Cross-Spokes on Ebay right now. It is a waiting game. just list them and wait until someone comes along that wants your wheels. Not a huge market for them right now but if you're patient they will sell.

 

I agree. I am thinking that I am probably just going to keep my Edition 1 wheels and buy another set? What wheels did you put on your GTS?

I purchased the same cross spoke forged but in Black. The Magno Iridium needs back wheels!

 

I'm planning on keeping my Edition 1 wheels. I ordered some 300M wheels in satin black with 20/21" stagger.
