Guys what do you prefer in person black or white ? Those are my choices, 1.Black with black cross spoke wheel, 2. Black 5 spoke wheel in black as well, or 3.White with 5 spoke in black, all have panaramas, and red callipers. I know pictures don't always do justice, is black more aggressive or it really shrinks the car ? Thank you !!!
Beware the white aint white. Its a creamy color that would look appropriate for your wife's SUV. Black though, hides curves and gets too dirty. I would pick a different color.
I had the same thoughts. I would take black over white but I haven't seen either in person. I saw iridium silver in person and it looked fantastic. Doesn't hide the curves or get dirty as quickly as white. Pictures just don't do it justice.
My favorite paint choice is matte grey but that has its own issues.
My CLS was black and I got rid of it partly because I didn't like how hard it was to maintain black. Running it through touch less washes left behind a residue that was horrible to look at. Washing it by hand removed the residue but revealed the swirl marks that were just as horrible. If I were to pick up black I would most definitely get a full clear bra. My SRT is white, and I'm very happy with the color choice. You have to see both in person and pick the one you like best.
The issue with a black car is that it only looks amazing jsut after it has been cleaned. it shows off the dust and swirl marks 2 much.
Therefore between your 2 choices, I would go with white. Get the black package and wheels. Tint the car and it will look gorgeous.
Personally I think other colors like red or blue if you want to be different could be a great choice 2. I hope I did not put more doubt in your head lol.
here's why: My GTS is black (currently wrapped). The black quickly gets marked with finger print and it doesnt look good. Also, within a week, you'll see all the squirly dust scratch on the paint - more obvious on the black. Cleaning and maintaining it is difficult also. Get White with black wheels. Get the matte silver or charcoal if your options expand.
Although you gave your parameters as white or black (and between those I would choose black - much richer color and many positive comments from admirers about color) I chose blue. Color totally rocks.
