The goal is to get the best gross cap cost and then you will spread it out over 3 years and know that your starting point is lower due to your strong negotiations = lower payoff if you trade in earlier than lease term.
I'd be curious who is selling GT(S) new for invoice. Is that real??Originally Posted by Vic55
You have every right to ask for the residuals based on terms and miles- do it. As for the 11% off; I wish you all the luck in the world but that discount is well into holdback and I seriously doubt you get there. You might be able to get an invoice call on a car though (6% off). A 2 year lease on the GTS would have a ginormous payment--- the depreciation over that term is huge and the residuals are NOT Porsche like. Probably not for the layman--- maybe a vip or factory guy or a nickel and dimer LOL. It all really depends on so many factors but not limited to: allocation, days supply, flooring, desire to move, etc....

Correct. Good luck to anyone trying to find a white or black one for the same price.Originally Posted by Vic55

Dealers here are willing to negotiate. If anyone is interested, PM color and specs you want. I am not associated with any dealer nor will I make money on the deal. The more I help my local dealers sell cars, the better I stand in their eyes for an allocation of a special car

If there is something you like, I will put you in touch directly with GM.
They also can order you one but it takes longer. I would think you would be able to find a dealer in CA willing to sell for invoice

Oddly enough I got into a conversation with my dealer over this very same subject.
Apparantly there actually are colors the dealer would rather not have and red is one of them. Some blues and yellow are others.
It impacts the trade value you receive on the car as well.
Frankly in my opinion there are cars that look very good in red like a Ferrari but I am not so sure about the GTS.

So, he'll sell me a GTR at invoice huh? I know it'll cost me a steak for you if I do a deal but that's to be expected. Originally Posted by emericr

They don't seem to have anything I like. I can order directly with my lovely sales guy in CA at near invoice. My problem is the wait. I need to do more yoga and learn how to be patient.

I believe his allocations are already called for and yes the pricing is more than amazing.
