Has anyone spec'd/ordered one yet in the US? Any idea of pricing or delivery dates?

I have my spec'd out and "ordered," but have no price, build date or delivery date. My dealer entered it into the MB order system, and it's sort of a blind order. My specs will drop into a build date as soon as the first one is assigned to the dealer.

Same boat - they have my deposit check and they know what options I want, but they literally can't even price it right now - I'm expecting 150ish out the door. Delivery is expected in November

November sounds late. I was told by MB Canada that production of GTC roadster starts in May. BTW, you can already configure one on the German website but of course packages and standard options are different.

I just spec'd one on the German site for fun and it was 185K Euros. Didn't include CCB or any carbon bits or expensive paint. Many of the things we get default are extra in Germany, BTW.

AMG GT C Roadster - About to pre-order
I could configure the car at the dealer. They referred to the model is the GTCA, but the options were not consistent with configuring a GTS coupe for example on the online configurator. I got the sense that the configurator at the dealership wasn't fully baked just yet. They said they were getting one in July (for the showroom), but wouldn't get a second one until November/December. They went on to say that because they are a brand new dealership (under two months old), that they were able to get a bit of preference when it came to allotment volume (sounded like bullshi#). I'd love to see it come in earlier, but as of now, they can't even complete the order with Mercedes and are waiting on corporate.

185K Euro's? If mine comes back that high, I'm out. 150K or less and I'll make it work. With a 135K base price, knowing the price of the options on the GTS, I don't see how 185 is possible unless you just take every option? What am I missing?

AMG GT C Roadster - About to pre-order
I just tried the German configurator also and the car came in at 172K and I didn't have to work hard to get there. Is it possible the list price is higher in Germany, or is it more likely that the rumored 135K base price for the GT C, is off on the low side?

They can retain a deposit but they need to be one of the very few dealers that MB AMG designates to recieve a GTC allotment. NOT very dealer will receive one.

German pricing can't be compared to the US. Different and much smaller market, plus the price always includes 19% VAT, so you can deduct that right off the bat.

@jswan the dealer told me they would be allotted two, one in June as a floor model, and one in December as their first sellable allotment. They didn't seem concerned about acceptance

Now will they configure the floor model as you would like it to be or do you have to wait until December.
Just be sure you receive a printed copy of your confirmed vechicle order when it is entered in the MB AMG ordering system.

All good feedback guys, thank you. They did ask me if I wanted the floor model, but it had already been ordered, and was the wrong color and optioned wrong for me personally. He did say it would take a few weeks before the order was accepted. You're well informed

First post here and my first amg is on the way to substitute my current jag f type-r.
Will receive the first amg gtc roadster to come to Portugal and the only one till december
My config is in attachment, let me know your thoughts

Talked to a local MB sales manager yesterday and he also referred to the floor model they have on order as a GTCA. He said there would also be a GTCR which I don't understand. The floor model was likely to be around $160 and he said to figure $175+ for the higher hp model modestly optioned. He thought they were to get the floor model, which will be white w/ saddle interior and black top, around July but still had no dates for placing firm orders or delivery dates.

AMG GTS
This is the order catalog I got from my dealer. My sales guy said they have 3 allotted, with one that is supposed to be here soon....probably around the time of The Masters. He couldn't give me a good estimate on total pricing, but I can tell you based on the price for the GTS that you're not getting out the door for $150K. My dealership has a $10K non-refundable deposit to put in your order.

I have now also "reserved one" at a local dealer. The took a deposit and said that once they were able, they would call me to spec it in detail...that for now all they could do would be to put in a color and interior spec and that's it. They said they needed something for the system to take it but that later the color and interior could change as I spec it out. However, no pricing yet. From what I see, this just gets you on a list but then they can charge what they want and you can accept or decline as the car specs get firm.

No official launch/delivery date has been announced.
No MSRP has been announced.
No official order has been accepted in his name and VIN number by MB AMG.
No AMG production date has been provided with a projected delivery date.
The dealer can say alot of things but MB AMG is the only official source.
ALSO, as you know the car can show up in the US and be delayed at the port for months on end.
