Are many people dissatisfied with their AMG GTS?

And our GTS's do not have resonators, just primary and secondary cats.

There is no platinum in those units therefore there are no "catalyst" which is probably why there are no O2 sensors before and after them to monitor their efficiency because they have no effect on emmission

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
And this can easily be reverted back to stock for resale purposes.
back to the OP thread, I luv my car

Seriously, you must have some other interests than going on and on and on and on about your experience with your GT-S. Everyone on this forum has seen you relentless posting about it. Find something else to post about. There must be something that would make you happy. My GT-S makes me happy, but so do other things. Perhaps you could find some Zen in something else and move onto better things.
it sounds like you got your money back. be happy. move on.
GTS is my second car and compared to 911S & 4S (991.2), and F-type R before eventually ending up GTS.
I think that GTS is still the best in $150K class in terms of wow factor, fun, posture, handling, exhaust sound and even boot size (holding two golf bags)!!!
Recently I test drived DB11 (well.. over $200K range car), but GTS was better in almost every aspect, except qualtiy of interior material and brand image.
Now I'm considering to move up to AMG GTR and I'm pretty sure GTR will be very competitive in $200K range.
Dude, you have absolutely no perspective about cars. I try to spend at least half my driving time in a Jeep so I can appreciate the GTS. Otherwise I get used to how incredible it really is. If you eat at 5 star restaurants every day, appreciation dwindles to nothing. P-nut butter sandwiches 6 days a week, and a 5 star restaurant on Saturday is the good life.
Thanks for your interesting history

Unfortunately, I have no time to enjoy driving weekdays due to work (and commute using subway)
So, for me, GTS (and also was Cayman S) is a toy for spending nice weekend and holidays.

Well, couldn't agree more. I prefer $10 pizza to $100 steak when watching a ball game. But definitely will go fo the other way around when I have a date.
1: Audi
2: Porsche
You have to go way down the list to find MB.

Not sure what to make of this discussion - If this has any significance than we should all buy and drive Kia (no. 6) or Hyundai (no.12)..

I did a quick search on Autotrader for 2016. There are over 530 911 for sale and over 300 AMG GT for sale - Does this mean that people do not want to buy 911s? Of course not - all these raw numbers and statistics are meaningless.
I still don't have my GTC but have owned P and MB - both had minor issues. MB service was far better and in my experience MB's reliability was better even though CR has Porsche as No. 2 on their "list"
If you look at the numbers carefully you will see that over time the numbers of 2016 GTS are declining.
The number of 2017's are primarily made up of GT cars with a lower number of GTS.
My sense is that MB is loading the market with their new entry level GT and the remaining number of 2017 GTS are normal new inventory.
Supply chain and customer demand should normalize over that next couple of months.
GTR-- Rumor has it that the initial US GTR launch will be in late April-May and Canada will be in August. No news on the Europe or Asia markets yet.
