I have had a burning oil smell since day 1 wondering if anyone else has had this issue and what the dealer has done about it. I have around 1000 miles on it.

I have not had to add any oil yet and still at 1000 miles have the burning oil smell. Also have a slight coolant burning smell.

After what sort of driving to you smell it? Lightly driving around town? Or hammering around corners and fun areas? Just sitting the next day after not being driven for 24 hours? More info please.

I believe this is the expansion tank on drysump oil line.

I get a faint whiff after a spirited ride.

Some around here will look for any reason to justify this and other problems with this car. This is NOT normal and you should not except this as being such. I would make sure you document with your dealer and make them fix it. If they can't, than you live with this car or move on to something else.

I had a smelly GTS and the interior of the windshield fogging up with engine bay residue when i first got it.

The dealer found excessive anti-corrsion coating (for shipping) had been applied to my car and it was slowly burning off the exhaust pipes.

They cleaned the exhaust and the smell went away completely.

Soon after break in I noticed this burned smell and took it to the dealership. They removed a scorched 911S from underneath the car and it has been fine since.

Mine has the same, as well as another one I test drove before buying this one. Trying to research possible causes as well.

Ours has a strong gasoline odor when parked in the garage. We took it back to the dealer and they kept it overnight and pronounced it good. They said it's just brake fluid smell and it will eventually go away. It has gone away for the most part now but sometimes it can be noticed right after the car is parked but it doesn't linger like it did before. We now have over 2000 miles on the car.

So my 2020 GTC doesn’t have an anti freeze smell , it has an oil type smell but only after I get on it here and there , only has 360 miles on it so it’s prob normal break in ****

Your description match the symptoms of the issue in this thread. Not coolant related. Oil related.

Coolant, when leaking always leaves a hazy white slat residue. Take a good look around to see if there are any signs of that. Remove the "tupperware" from the top of the engine. Pops right off. In the meantime, I am getting the oil vent hoses replaced as we speak. So, lets see if things get better after that with the oil smell.
