My GTS full emblem makeover. Don't hate. :)

So the OEM emblems on my 16 GTS just put me in a bad mood so I decided to do a makeover.

-changed the chrome to black. #plastidip
-replaced the OEM "GTS" emblem with the "GTS" fender emblem from my old Gen V Viper. Exact same height as the ///AMG emblem. Sooooo much cleaner imo.

Good idea. I think the Viper "GTS" does look better and my son has a couple of old Vipers at his shop.

I really expected to hate what you'd done; OEM always looks better (or so I thought). However, it looks good!

It looks good but its not OEM so its not for me. I have blackened my badges, debadged too, but never replaced the OEM with non OEM on any of my cars.

But as they all say on the boards, if you like it, thats all that matters.

Thanks all. I'm really liking the cleaner look. Just to be clear Ida never done a BMW "GTS" emblem...that would have been too much.
Next gonna black out the front grill slats and do the door handle chrome in white.
Then a full wrap in 3M Satin Flip Ghost Pearl. Stay tuned!

Plastidip is what he used to color them, not where he got them...

The actual emblems were off my old Gen V Viper. ...I work with plastidip a lot at work so the emblems came out awesome.
Again...thanks for the thumbs up!

Did you re-use your OEM AMG emblems?

I went with rear badge delete except for the silver star. Looks clean.

As long as you're happy with yours, I'm happy too.

Looks good. Just not feeling the Viper badge on your AMG. If you like it, that's all that matters, and it will be a conversation piece for sure. Cool that you posted this.
