Drum roll, please!

Finally picked up my 2018 AMG GTS. It is friggin awesome !

First, the Solarbeam Yellow is stunning . I showed up to the Dealers. There were people milling around the car. It was like a beacon in the sea of MB white, gray and black cars.

The Carbon fiber exterior package is striking against the yellow metallic paint especially in the sunlight.

The all leather interior is so clean. I’m glad i didn’t get the contrasting Dinamica dash board. The Dinamica steering wheel and headliner is enough . The Gloss Carbon Fiber trim sparkles. The seats are snug but comfortable. No sliding at all.

The infotainment is a little complex to absorb in one sitting but seems pretty intuitive . The gear shifter will take some time to get used to. It’s a little too far back to reach comfortably.

Steering is firm but responsive. In Comfort suspension, the ride is not bad at all. Even the rough, torn up streets were bearable . I didn’t compress a vertebra ; i didn’t forget how to operate. It was comfortable compared to my SUV.
Visibility is fair. The A pillars were ok not obstructive. Rear view side mirrors are appropriately placed. The windshield seems a little narrow, part is due to the long bonnet taking up part of your field of view . It was t too dark in the cabin. Light comes in through the perforations of the roller shade even when closed . I have plenty of head rooom.

Easy exit of the seats would be nice but i set my drivers position as M1 and the seat way back as M2.

Handling was great. The High End Burmiester is reasonable . The speakers need to break in. Cabin noise was surprisingly acceptable eithe Windows closed.
its now stored in the garage waiting for PPF application. The roads around here are filled with sand and gravel .

Will post pics soon.

Could only be so lucky. I’ve been stuck at work all week and haven’t seen the light of day to be able to take pics of her in natural day

The only photo i have is a teaser photo from the Dealer. I will take her out this weekend and take some photos . I promise to post them this weekend .

The license plate looks interesting. Is it normal for a brand new, non delivered car to have a plate that looks like that in NJ?
