This is a top tier event.

I’ll be “representing” the proud GTR owners at the Cars and Coffee event Saturday on the main fairway.

They just annouced that the MB AMG PROJECT ONE CAR will be there along with the original Steve McQueen Mustang and a host of other dignitaries.

I don’t have this problem but I can tell you from first hand observation, don’t fly your private jet down. Parking for those things is non existant. BIG MONEY shows up at this event and the airport has them parked wing to wing in all the possible places to park.

There should be parking at the airport with shuttle service to and from the show.

PLEASE REMEMBER the Saturday Cars and Coffee event is free by invite only and there are TWO locations for cars. One is on the Amelia Golf Course Fairway where I’ll be and the other is in a paremiter parking lot. It’s a BIG event and lasts from 9:00am Saturday morning until 1:00pm. Then they throw all of the Cars and Coffee cars out so they can start getting ready for the main event Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday.

PLEASE BRING SUN TAN LOTION, WATER AND A HAT.

THE AMELIA ISLAND CONCOURS d'ELEGANCE MOVES TO SATURDAY MARCH 10 DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER
RM SOTHEBY'S MOVES TO FRIDAY MARCH 9, Amelia Island, FL -

Even in the best case scenario, the forecast for Sunday's scheduled Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance includes rain and lots of it. With a strong chance of heavy precipitation forecast for Sunday and a sunshine-filled Saturday in the mix, The Amelia Concours team has moved Sunday's award-winning Concours to Saturday. The Concours show will now coincide with Saturday's Cars & Coffee at the Concours presented by Heacock Classic Insurance.

The new schedule is as follows
Saturday, March 10, Cars & Coffee at the Concours 9am until 5pm

Saturday, March 10, Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance 9:30am until 5pm

Other important changes include moving Saturday's Drivers of the IMSA Prototypes Seminar to Sunday at 10:30am in the Talbot Ballroom, The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island

Saturday evening's Gala is unchanged.

RM Sotheby's Auction will move to Friday March 9 at 3pm.
