Congratulations!
Very happy for you. You'll have miles of smiles. I drove a GT S as a daily driver. Let us know your impressions of the car. Thanks for sharing.

I have a few months to wait still.
congratulations on the purchase , please tell us your impressions as most owners seem to keep their level of excitement to themselves.
so whatever you can tell us would be great

Awesome!
I got mine about 2 weeks ago and as fate would have it I am so busy I have not been able to drive it much at all.
The sound it makes though, OMG.

Random question for all you guys, I use Dr Beasly’s Soap for matte paint care, (since I used to own a magno cashmere car) but I was wondering about those stupid tire shine products, do you guys tend to stay away from those ? Looks so good when shiny :p
Thanks!

Suggest getting XPEL Stealth PPF right away. They have ceramic coatings for matte. Then you have protection and cleaning is easier. An occasional wash, maintence with Dr Beasley AdvanceCoat Matte every three months and use some Matte detail spray between washes.

Twins! lol
Congrats on the car. Same story as me, almost. I had a preliminary order in for Selenite Grey, but wasn’t going to be able to get the car until around about now. I found a GHM car on-line last November that the dealer actually made me a deal on. I flew in and had to buy it as soon as I saw the car ‘in the flesh’. Love the colour.
As others say: protect the car with Xpel Stealth; I have the whole car covered. I use ‘The Chemical Guys’ matte car care products only on the car. Very easy to keep clean now.

anyone have ave a picture of the wheels I have (with the silver dish lip) painted in black? I was thinking about painting them but I’m scared to tarnish the look. Initially I had ordered the wheels without the dish because I’m not a big fan of chrome/silver

Sometimes blacked out wheels end up looking like empty spaces. Case by case.

I’m still not at my break in yet, I have 1000 KM to go, duno what that is in miles, but roughly (0.6miles). I drove it in sport plus for a bit without dumping the red line, and its a different car completely. Can’t imagine the fun it would be to drive a little harder.
My overall experience of the car has been great, more so that the colour is such an attention seeker. (Not something that I particularly like but a reality if you are getting GHM).
Sound wise, after hearing people cutting their cat and putting downpipes, I can’t lie and say I wish the car could be a tad louder. Don’t get me wrong the car is very loud, I’m just used to the old engines :-).
This is probably the best driver car I’ve owned ever. Unfortunately for me it’s not the best daily driver because we have snow and this is obsolete in snow, so I’ll b replacing that with an edition one 2019 g63.
pros:
anything driving related, this will just be a pro
its build to handle itself being so low ( i don’t scrape that much at all)
it’s wide and has presence, esthetically
the seats are really comfortable (not the track pack seats)
the trunk size is nice
cons:
the only negative thing I’d have to say is, they should have put some protection towards the bottom left and right extremeties of the lower front end, because rock chips may be a problem if one goes right through.
no apple car play (why wouldn’t they put this)
the accessibilty to get to your media (has no button meaning you need to navigate through your internal menu to get to your radio functions and your media)
no front camera, or 360 camera
i guess most of my complaints are tech related, but I guess you could say, when you drive such a car that these problems are benign.
This car does not disappoint. If you have any technical questions I’d be glad to help
Cheers!

Basically, it’s my daily driver, for me at least, pun intended because I live in probably the city with the worst pot hole problem in North America (Montreal). Given that you use the car in comfort, it will drive normally, make sure you are safe in the rain and don’t floor it around turns.

Related to the media accessibility, may I suggest that you use the voice button for it. Once you get used to it, it's really a breeze. For example, press voice button, say "radio" then press button again and say "92.5".

do you guys think the car would look better with all black wheels ?
Some spotter took this pic, really love this angle
