Anyone know if the renntech down pipes will trigger a cel?

Hello Guys,
Like the tittle says, I don’t want to get into remaps or whither horsepower since my car mostly sees track days at cota and I don’t want to overheat.
Also if anyone has experience with the installation, do you know if the install is easy?

Here is a link of the ones I want to get.

You should wait to get confirmation from the horse's mouth but based on previous experience, the downpipes with cats should not trigger a cell, However, I think the install will be a bear as you may have to drop the transmission but you need to confirm this as well. i believe the only ones that are "slip on" are the catless ones and you will need a tune to get the CEL off.
As a side note, deleting the secondary cats is easy to do and yield about the same increased aural pleasure.

Thanks for the reply, my thoughts exactly. You are right about deleting the secondary cats and not worry about cel. I have done this to a cayenne turbo and it was a must!

Our current downpipes for the AMG GT family do trigger the CEL light. See picture for reference.

However, we are currently working on an updated version where the Cats are located in the upper section between the O2 sensors. These won't trigger the check engine light.
Those downpipes will be similar to our 213 - E63 downpipes.

From the pic, you can see the sensors are still located at the same place and the cats are located after them therefore the CEl will trigger.
Just another reason to get it tuned
