Just seen the new Amg GT VIDEO on Facebook. Wonder if all 2019’s will have the new digital display and steering wheel as seen in attached screen shot or if it’s a mid year refresh. I think headlights are a fuzz different too.

i dont think so, the 2019 order guide basically same as 2018. i want to cancel my 2019 gtr order now. huge interior changes. GG

Looks like the new steering wheel which is desireable. Much needed to keep up with the rest of the range. Also, yes headlights look slightly different. If they have upgraded the rest of the interior (which I honestly dont think they have bothered with) and improve the suspension compliance in the dynamics package I might consider another test drive. Last test drive of the GTC coupe, I wasn't overly impressed.
up here in frozen country I believe are unchanged. It’s ginna be the 2020 models that will have all the updates seen in the video above. These are all gonna launch next week in LA. Likely that means we won’t see them up here for at least a year this spring.
Also I’ve had a chance to drive a few vehicles with the new steering wheel. My opinion is that it’s too busy and i find using it distracting. Moving the cruise onto the wheel has made it far too complicated. If I have to take my eyes off the road to use the buttons on the steering wheel...
My guy still says he hasn't heard anything and he's the guy that does all the ordering/buying for Penske here in Arizona. Maybe the east coast cars got released and the L.A. ones didn't? sigh.
Personally the busy steering wheels are done best by Ferrari. It’s driver focused and not entertainment focused. Mercedes doesn’t quite have that down yet. So I definitely prefer the analog tach and less busy steering wheel for my GTR.
My car was finished the week of October 19th. I thought it would have been in the states by now and my SA just told me today it is still in Germany waiting shipment. He says the GTRs have been delayed. I'm waiting to get more information.
The SA told me,a week ago...my (gtr `19) was built on 9-mid month- 18...& is still at a Germany port waiting for a ship ASSIGNMENT....whats going on..?
By 12-mid month -18,i may no longer be interested.....have a Porsche`17- 991.2 ts to DD....the local stealership has called..do i want a `19 turbo S.....

Personally after owning a GT R for a year there is no way I'd forfeit it for a TT-S.
OK,i get it....i`ve had both Porschees & Mercedes.....from the 50tys.on....i`ve enjoyed both brands....test drove a `18 GTC.cpe days ago just.a few short miles.......which generated interest.to..have a `19 gtr......& ordered 1....another dd is a `18 gla....its a fun car....* does the dd job....

Can you get a 19 GT3? I'd go with that over a TTS.
Update.... I’m picking my GTC up on Wednesday if my dealer is not a liar! It’s supposed to be released from the VPC and on the truck tomorrow. I hope I didn’t jinx things by saying anything! Pictures on arrival!

I am close when it comes to dates for my delivery. Supposedly, the vehicle will be on the truck on Wednesday. As it is a short trip from Baltimore to NYC, she ought to be delivered on Thursday and I ought to have the GTC on Saturday...time will tell!
On another note, it will be interesting to hear about the facelift items from LA on Thursday. I'm hoping the "enhancements" make it onto our rides......let's see what happens.

I test drove a Porsche gt3....& the same day,a 991.1 turbo...& ordered the 991.1 turbo...also a macan turbo too.The 991.1 turbo had it all for me.
Not so much,the gt3....few months later,ordered a 991.2 ts...its a `17...use a `18 mb gla is a dd....also `18 mb c63 amg,cpe...trade off dd`s.
Ordered a 19 gtr & a`19 gla.....last april...from FJones....las vegas MB dealer.To date,the`19 gtr is still at a port in Germany,waiting for a ship assignment......the `19 gla was ..a swap/trade ..allocation..from an out of state mb dealer.....
The Porsche dealer,lv,nv.....had an allocation for the `17 991.2 ts...&..could be delivered months sooner then the GT3...which i wasnt to ebullient to own/drive.

You'd think they'd all want us to have got and paid for our cars before seeing all the new changes for next model year.
