Anybody Here Have Experience with Both Michelin Sport Cup 2 and Pilot Sport 4S?
Anyway P4S has better wet/cold weather performance and Cup2 performs better in the dry. I'd only consider the Cup2 if you do some track driving or if you only drive in the dry.
with the 325 width set not so much.
Now that assumes I’ve put some heat in them by driving a while vs. just pulling out of the garage on a 50-degree morning when it sat overnight with temps in the 30’s or 40’s.
Again, the 4s is an INCREDIBLE street tire, if you want better warm / dry only traction, you have a great tire already.
And I ask about mashing the gas in 2nd gear because I want to know my tires can handle that without any issues. Not because I do this every time in 2nd gear but more so to know the tires are an adequate match for the car's power. An under-tired car isn't always safe and like many people here, I do step on it once in awhile.

I have a dedicated set of wheels and tyres for the track and use the ‘option’ GT R tyres which is the MSC2 ZP. So much better on track than the OEM SC2s.

Bet the GT R rips on a track with the SC2 ZP!

I strongly considered a set of Michelin AS3+ ZP as they can be had in a 335/285 combo and I was thinking of using them for a wet track tire too.
Ordered PS4S 325/25 & 275/35. Would have been nice if there was a 335/285 combo but there isn't yet.
The 325/25 & 275/35 has a closer matched sidewall profile of 26.5".
Where as, the OE 325/35 is 1.2" taller.
I have the 335/285 CUP2 ZP's on a set of rims for the track.

My OEM PSC2s only have around 3,000 miles on them but the car seems to ride a little ‘rougher’ now that it has been taken out of its winter storage. I had stored it with around 40 psi in the tyres, but even in the garage the temps were super low at times so I’m kind of wondering if the tyres were compromised somewhat. Hell, I’m really just tying to talk my way into buying a set of the PS4S’! lol

I probably should have got the A/S 3 ZP. I will be in the mountains and the ZP would have added a bit more security and peace of mind. Will have to take a few cans of fix-a-flat.
Anyways, I have been bombing around for the last 2 weeks on the CUP 2 ZPs, and they are hella loud. Have two track days on them and nearly zero tread left (not that there is much to start with).

I get to the gas station before heading up into the canyons and noticed that the dealership installed a pair of Super Sports instead of the Cup 2's..
Huge difference between the Super Sports and the Cup 2's.... No questions asked as the dealership replaced the Super Sports with the proper Cup 2's at a discount ..
Mixing tyres is of course a no-no. Glad your dealership took care of you.

PS4S is the best true street tire out there if you use your car primarily as a means of transportation.

Side by side the difference is substantial. ZP less tread and less tread depth.
Cup 2 ZP measures 13.875" vs Cup 2 OEM 13.25"
OEM CUP 2 is about 1" Taller than ZP
335/285 combo is near perfect sidewall ratio. OEM Sidewall ratio is about 0.5" difference
335 CUP 2 ZP (Left) / 325 PS4S (Right)
ZP measure about 13 875" and PS4S measures about 13.5" across width. ZP is a hair taller.
275 CUP 2 (OEM) / 285 CUP 2 ZP / 275 PS4S
