CF splitter damage - repair or just R&R?

It is undersurface and you don’t see it standing in front of the car, but you can see it approaching. The white from the scratch/gouges is a stark contrast w/ the CF. Cutter, you’re probably right, I should just leave it. First mark on the car and all...I suppose that bugs me more than anything.
Replacing that lip will set you back a couple of grand. When I first did it, I was upset . But, it’s a hazard of a low lying car. Replace it and it will happen again in short order.

No, you're right, it's not through the fiber. You & Zephyr have got me thinking sanding/clear may be just the fix. If it isn't, what did you use to touch up the color?
Bish,
I had it ceramic coated (entire car & wheel faces) but that's it. Obviously no help this time. <G>

0. Tape up surrounding areas with blue tape
1. Use fine then extra fine sand paper and some polishing compound (for lube) and sand the area lightly just so it gets even or smooth
2. Wipe it clean with 70% IPA and clean rag several time to clean off the oils
3. Purchase a can of clearcoat at homedepot or auto store
4. Spray some in a small cap or little container and use a fine brush and brush on a few layers waiting about 10 minutes between layers
5. Finish polishing using wet sand and polishing compound and small rotary
