DTLA Motors. Due to some misfortune I've needed a lot of service (probably 12 visits in the last 18 months) and SA Erik D. has been exceptional. I'd give you his contact if I could figure out how to DM on here.

SoCal SA Recommendation
From 2007 though 2017, Tony Irvani was my service advisor at Fletcher Jones Mercedes in Newport Beach. He is knowledgeable, courteous and well-liked by others at the dealership. Also, he's a very decent human being. Best SA I've ever had particularly when a warranty repair was needed. For sales, the FJM experience is very sales associate-dependent. Some are very unaware of AMG cars, for example. I'd be interested to hear about California John's recommendations for that area/dealership. Good luck.

I have the misfortune of living closest to Mercedes-Benz of Calabasas. I wouldn't recommend them for anything requiring competence.

Thank you. And I heard SM is pretty bad too. Any experiences with them?

Mike Asher of Fletcher Jones is straightforward and honest. Not sure how specifically knowledgeable he is about AMGs. He thought my early tire wear (6,000 miles) on my GTC was likely due to bad alignment. Ended up that the alignment was almost perfect - a little toe off if I remember correctly. The early tire wear was just due to the way I drive I assume. There is one onramp in particular that is often deserted and is really a great skidpad - transition from NB 405 to SB 133. I've been working that one for years trying to get my min speed up and my exit speed up as well. At any rate, Fletcher Jones wanted about $400 for an alignment whereas Mercedes Benz Laguna Niguel, also an AMG specialist, did it for $179. Same machine, same Mercedes spec sheet print out. Mike Asher's email is masher@fjmercedes.com
Matt Moskal at Mercedes Benz of Laguna Niguel used to be a great SA and is now the SM. Good guy. His email: mmoskal@mblaguna.com

Derek Franklin at Simonson in a Santa Monica is a great advisor. He has been taking care of all my cars for years. He is honest and real when it comes to any of my concerns. He keeps me updated without me having to try and reach him. That is a big plus in my book.
