I started pestering him about wanting a GT BS back in 17 when it was vaporware, and he'd been bugging the regional rep since and in part that's what got me the car. Plus the parent company was pressuring him to charge me a markup and he fought them and honored our handshake msrp agreement. This is a small dealership and getting this car is a big win for them, so he asked me if I would let them keep it in the showroom for a few days so they can show it off and I am happy to do that for him. I honestly don't know who was more exited at delivery, him for I.
So I'll probably pick it up Tuesday or Wednesday and then send it off for PPF. I'm jonesing to get behind the wheel but it's going to take a few more days to get stuff done in the right order ... it's ok, I've waited for almost a year so a week here or there doesn't make a difference.
Gents. I was told that there are several cars at port still waiting for wing parts. Does anyone have any additional insights?
My BS has been in the Baltimore port since late August, along with, as far as I understand 6 other cars.

Not sure if this is the reason why or whether it was mentioned in this thread or on the forums, but my GM said his dealer's car was delayed because the Carbon Fiber company that MB used went out of business and they have to get a different supplier/manufacturer now.

Congratulations on the stable addition! It is stunning and gorgeous. Also, very appreciative to share with the backstory on your order. It is indeed quite rare to have Dealerships stand up to a handshake agreement. Very few would do that. Enjoy!
My cousin happened to be there and took the pictures. I come down to Katie's a few times a year from Delaware. Picked up an Obsidian black allocation that should be here sometime next month, then PPF and home for winter.

However, to apologize for the delay, Mercedes invited me next week to a 2 days event in Stuttgart where i could drive a BS on the AMG test track, with an instructor. I'll be given the opportunity to drive other BS models of the line up as well.
