GT vs GTS

So after a lot of shopping for a AMG GT(S) I found one with options and color I like, however it is a GT not GT-S.

How much will I notice the mechanical LSD over the electronic controlled LSD?

The other item is the AMG dynamic exhaust, is the factory exhaust loud enough? The car is in FL at a MB dealer, which is offering 4 years CPO warranty on it... So. Pretty rare find with the options I want, all similar cars at GTS at higher price with no warranty. I am planning to have a tune put on the car, so the down 50hp is not really a concern. Is the GT (can't find one locally to listen to, only GT-S) exhaust the same volume as the GT-S with the valves closed or is it the sound of the GT-S with them open or does it have a completely different sound profile?

I have only found one video online of a GT with stock exhaust revvng and it is after startup, so not very useful.

For the record of packages:
Diamond White
Black exclusive Nappa/Dinamica interior with red stitching
AMG Aerodynamic Package / Fixed rear spiler
Exclusive Interior - single color extended lighting / black dinamica roof liner
Keless-Go
Lane Tracking Package
Disctronic
AMG Performance Full Dinamica wheel
Carbon Fiber door sill cover
Carbon Fiber Trim - Matte
AMG Exterior Night Styling (no idea wtf this is)
Red seat belts
Pano Roof
AMG Adaptive suspension
AMG 5 Spoke wheels
Exclusive Interior Trim
Burmeister High-End sound system

Guessing the AMG Adaptive suspension is the same as on the GT-S.

So diff and no exhaust.

You won’t notice differential.

if you have a sport exhaust on the GT with the valve button it’s all the same sound.

Only other difference is that the GT has slightly smaller brakes up front.

Seems like a highly spec’d GT. Perfect setup for max. Depreciation as a used car.

With a tune, this is will be a fast car and if the price is right you can always afford some exhaust work.
I can’t speak to the differential but assume only a minimal difference on the road.
The GT’s also have a smaller brake setup if memory serves...

Price, miles and year?

Will the tune terminate the CPO warranty? I would think so.

Agree. If you tune with a reputable tuner you will have stock GT R power and some. The dif difference (say that repeatedly) would only show up on the track and might give you a few tenths a lap getting out of slow corners.

Looks like Renntech you can put the tune on and off with their tool.

Local CarBahn (Steve Dinan's new shop) offers a tune with a warranty. $2k tune or $3k with warranty (covers duration of factory warranty).

Any thoughts on the RennTech DIY flasher/tuner tool?

You can do that with most any of the tunes that use a handheld, but if MB digs for it, they will still find it.
