Anyone else waiting for the 2020 AMG Driving Academy schedule...

Still not up yet. I'm going to Laguna Seca in March like I did last year. Should be up any day now I'd imagine. Anyone else going to LS?

Now you know you can’t take your new Lambo to a AMG Driving School LG event.

Happy New Year

Laguna Seca won’t be in March this year.. Schedule should be posted any day now. Will be going to COTA and Road Atlanta. COTA was amazing

So they are skipping March and will do LS in October/November like they usually do? If no March that's a bummer.

I’m looking for an Academy date next year, but it has to be one of the Pro + ones, so either COTA or LS. Probably LS since I did COTA last year.

Any news on the Academy schedule yet? I called the number last week listed on the AMG Academy website (USA). They have no clue. The guy told me they expected it to be released at the end of November but he has no idea why it is taking so long (he really was clueless). He told me that I would know before he would if we signed up to be notified via the website (WHAT?). I am getting more concerned that they may not even have the Academy this year. Otherwise what is the issue. I feel like calling Reini Renger in Affalterbach to find out what this issue is. Reinhold is in charge of AMG Driving Academy worldwide. I did a hot lap with him last year in the GTR (wow can he drive) when I met him at Road Atlanta at the Advanced class. He is a great guy. Guess I am just getting impatient so I will cool the jets and wait.

Anyone else hear anything?

Have the same issue. I want to apply the credit from our GTC on the next advanced class and not run into deadline issue.

That is only two months away and they have not even published the schedule yet. Guess I am surprised it is taking so long to publish the schedule especially if they want to fill the days you referenced.

I'm tempted to fly over and do a Laguna Seca one since they don't run an academy program here and I want to drive Laguna Seca.

Only thing is I'd like to do the PRO+ and I've obviously not done the preceding levels. Hopefully I can persuade them to let me join in.

going to be tough as there’s liability issues.

So with track experience they will easily allow you to jump straight into the ‘Advanced’ class. They might allow you to go straight into Pro/Pro+ if you hold an SCCA racing license, or the UK equivalent. Call them and ask, as that’s what I did to go straight to ‘Advanced’.

Let us know how it turns out as I’m thinking Pro+ at LS this year myself; it really is a phenomenal track.

I have a National A license which allows for some relatively serious racing (Porsche Cup etc) so would hope that would suffice.

Just wouldn’t want to come all that way and then not be challenged really.

You would only want to do Pro/Pro+ then.

FYI: Just called AMG Driving Academy. Even though they have the schedule posted they will not be opening registration until late February to early March. They have posted hotel information so I went ahead and booked hotel reservations for the Pro and Pro Plus classes.

Signed up as well for Seca. If all classes default to Lime Rock. You are most likely using Chrome as your browser. Speaking of desktop not mobile browser. Switched to Firefox and it works. Called and alerted them to let their IT department know.

We changed our plans. Instead of going for two day session, my wife will do the performance class in Laguna Seca and we'll then do the advanced training together at the Nurburgring Nordschleife in Germany. Sounds like more fun together.
Will also do the M driver session in Spartansburg in April.

Watch your email. I just got a cancellation for the June 20th advanced driving school AT Laguna Seca.
