I had the rattle and they replaced the cat back exhaust and it is gone now. It drove me crazy until I got them to do the replacement exhaust. Much better with no rattle on such a great car!

In my experience with a different marque, when the bypass actuator is open, there is no tension on the spring/valve and they rattle like hell. The F430 is a great example on cold start. Rattles like a tin can until vacuum builds up.

Hello Orcbolg. I just joined the forum, and I have an AMG GTC purchased and will pick up next week. I'm interested in figuring out how to order the valve controller from overseas but I do not see how to PM you. Perhaps my PM ability is restricted until I have a few posts. Thank you! That doesn't appear to be the same unit that Renntech sells, this one seems to be controlled by a phone app. I appreciate the link but I'm interested in finding the same unit at Renntech.

Not sure what Renntech is selling, but if you want to pay their markup then go for it. My cete is not controlled by an app, but by the drive mode selector in my car. C keeps the valves closed (which my wife likes), everything else opens them fully. There has been plenty of commentary on this forum. I recommend using the search function up and to the right on this page.
