Pressed the button located on the roof center console to deploy the spoiler and I’m unable to retract it now. When I press the button, the spoiler retracts momentarily then immediately deploys again. Tried it several times. Am I doing something wrong?

Check and see if something is stuck in there?
That crossed my mind as well. I activated the spoiler last night in the garage and left it in the deployed position. Drove it this morning and when I pressed the button to deactivate, it attempts to go down but immediately returns to deployed position. Checked for debris or contaminates around the mechanism but everything is clean.

Maybe try the freeway option, get up to speed, I think it's 70 mph where it auto deploys and low down maybe it will reset on it's own, or maybe something crawled in there overnight

I feel foolish. That was the solution. Thank you!Originally Posted by ronac
To retract it, you need to hold the button down until it's fully down.

Mercedes logic. In most cases when you push and hold buttons down the apparatus will reset itself.Originally Posted by PropDyn
