Pretty excited, what are some must do mods? Mine does not have the adaptive suspension nor the exhaust valves. I hear a lot of people doing simple ecu power mods and exhaust pops. Really liking the DCT. Where can I get a nice front splitter and side skirts? Also anyone make interior carbon fiber trim? I have the lacquer black cluster. Last AMG was the 2006 cls55.....oh also what type of oil? Mobil one 0-40 euro formula?
AMG GTBS, AMG GTR Pro, AMG GT, C63 AMG, Porsche Panamera 4S, RX-7 FC Turbo II
Congrats and welcome. That looks like MB of Catonsville so we may be neighbors. There's tons of good info here so you may want to work your way through some of various threads first. PM me when things clear up and I can show you some of the mods that I have done to my car, and maybe we can connect on some local car events.

Yes Bmore! Thanks and appreciate the welcome. Let me see how your GT looks!
Congratulation on the purchase and welcome to the ownership of one of the finest automobiles with a great heritage. For ECU tune check into what Eurocharged has to offer. For splitters and side skirts please leave the elegant and purposeful body lines alone. What's the fascination with sticking pieces of useless plastics to an otherwise a classic beautiful design.

Yes she is a beauty, I also have an 18 C7 Z06. The front splitter and side skirts really make a difference on the Z06. I noticed under the front bumper there is a series of self tappng screws along the front maybe 6 screws. I assume there was a splitter on it and the owner took it off before trading in. I do see what you mean about leaving the elegance. Curious, why would someone trade in a 17 Amg GT with only 13k miles? I guess boredom? It’s CPO so I’m covered u till 2024.

Personal taste. Imo, every model under the R looks too soft and bulbous. Splitters and side skirts help to draw down the lines better, and make the body look more aggressive and less shoe like.
OP, I'd reccomend darwinpro, RWcarbon, or JSK racing, for your carbon fiber needs.
If you go the tune route, Eurocharged is the best bang for your buck, and solidly reliable. You'll also want some better tires for the power, I recommend Michilen PS4S.

yes I have the super sports on my C7 Z06 and it played like it was on ice the other day dry conditions but the cold weather can’t get traction even in 40-50 degree temps.... is the euro charge tube worth it???

Best value for a tune that I know of. Search for their thread here on the forums and you can usually get it with the handheld for around $1500. Was easy peasy to install.
