MErcedes Part Number Search

Anybody have access to the part numbers for the GTR Pro rear spoiler? Wondering if the wing supports are a separate part number and could be modified to fit a Roadster. The width for the mounts on the wing would fit the Roadster articulating wing but wondering if this is an option for the Roader because there is not a single aftermarket wing option.

Thanks for your help!

Confused exactly what part number you are looking for? the PRO trunk section that has the wing mounts and wing to install on a GT roadster?

MB parts are a black box - if you know the part number, you can often start the journey with some sort of parts diagram with an exploded view....sometimes. MB seems to be more difficult compared to Porsche or BMW etc. There are sellers out there offering their "expertise" in parts sourcing from Germany but their IP is the access to parts diagrams and part numbers.

I was hoping the pro brackets might be a separate part number and could be mounted on the wing surface of a Roadster - I don't need the light housing surface mount. And with the Roadster you would need to get the Coupe wing because the brake light isnt necessary (the Roadster GTR formfactor has 2 light mounts). Since nothing is readily available Im trying to get creative. The alternative would be to pay someone to copy these brackets with a CNC and have the surface angles match the Roadster etc - with the adjustable wing mount I saw that as less of an issue.

So long story short; I would love to get every part number for this set up, and if its available, the part numbers for the GTR Roadster set up too. Dealers search by VIN so not an ideal way to go hunting for this.

I have somebody based out of Houston that can usually get almost any part. He was able to get me the euro roll cage for my GTR. DM if you are interested and i can connect you two.

Anybody with a roadster wondering about part numbers and costs are to get the GTR Roadster spoiler set up, I have em - adding it all up its not much more expensive than the stuff coming out of China and of course these are OEM parts. Don't get scammed by some of the pricing you see on Ebay ($5000 and up) - its MUCH cheaper than you think. To make this all real, I will order the parts next month and have the base modified/painted and put on to share.

In the spirit of helping the community, here are the part numbers and quantities required. I ordered (under $3,000 to my door) and will work on getting it all set up. Will need to order the bypass for the active spoiler and have the modification done for the brake light (relocated to the wing) and base (bodywork and paint to delete the reverse light set up). Stay tuned - hope this helps someone wondering about this!

I ordered the parts online from Mercedes Benz of Covington - searching part numbers online they were about 20% cheaper than anybody else for all parts.

all the parts # are from the amg gtr pro , right ?
Also everything in single quantity?
It seems the brackets parts # attached to the wing #540 and the "console" #640 to attach the #600 are missing as seen on the diagram here below ...? ( diagram below is for the amg gtr but it should be very similar to the gtr pro except the mounting base#600 and the lower bracket #610)

well, it's certainly a work in progress. The configuration that I went with is the GTR not the Pro mounting. I couldn't get a look at how the brackets mounted to the base or their contour to see if they would mount cleanly to the surface of the Roadster wing. So, this is the route.

Part numbers and config have been impossible to get - everyone who has them, of course wants to sell the item and keep the information that they have in a 'black box' so that they can continue to make their mark up. Thanks for your questions - they caused me to double (actually triple) check the parts list and Ive been working with the dealership to sort through the list - again, learning as I go because no one has shared without digging around and then putting together the list myself. My goal, aside from getting my car upgraded, would be to democratize the information for the next person that follows me.

To your questions/comments - you can purchase the wing independent of the end caps (item 500 in the diagram) and that item number is 190-793-25-00. Item 700 (part number 190-793-23-00) has the complete wing with caps. There are a couple of other things that I am now chasing down. First, I had a mistake - my list didn't include the RT mount (to the wing) part 190-885-48-02. Also, there are LT and RT brackets that mount the wing to the base (item 610 in the diagram) that were missing but I'm determining right now if that's included with item 600. Now the last 'wrinkle is, item 600 is actually part 190-793-19-00-9999 and *may* include item 640 (part 190-793-20-00-9999)...still working through these kinks but should have the answers today.

Here is a list of part numbers, descriptions, and item numbers to make it a little clearer:

FINAL UPDATE ON THE PARTS REQUIRED:

item 540 (above) is included in the kit noted as item 550. All other parts are necessary - final costs is still under $3,500 and includes all fees (shipping, tax etc) here is the final list:

Thanks for sharing all the infos!
So I assume the parts 640 and 600 on your list are for the amg gtr Roadster not coupe, right ?

Please see below the part numbers I found for the amg gtr COUPE .

Correct - couple of things that I discovered along the way that might help with your Coupe parts list:

- the wing is different (see the different part numbers for the item 700) with Roadster it has the built in brake light and wiring.
- item 550 includes LT and RT item 540
- the 9999 reference denotes an item that requires paint for finish. your items list 600 and 640

I didnt research the couple build at all, so Im going by the other list for the coupe and it would appear you would need:

1x 190-793-06-00-9999
1x 190-792-01-00
1x 190-792-02-00
1x 190-792-05-00
1x 190-792-06-00

you *might* need:
1x 190-793-07-00-9999

you may also need the fasteners (items 620, 650, 660, 670 etc) in various capacities too - I would order them just because they would be pennies in terms of the overall costs but if essential would hold you back from being completed.

With this much information, it would be easy to work with MB Parts to make sure its complete - find a GTR Coupe VIN for reference just in case.

Skilly, do you have any information on using the optional fixed rear spoiler from the Aero Package (GTC coupe) for the GTC roadster?

I'm guessing you mean the fixed spoiler that looks like the Edition 1. My take is that it won't fit; at the very least a risky move to try because its not designed to work.

There are two challenges between the Coupe and Roadster. The first is the base articulating wing is different in shape, so they aren't interchangeable - their shape is different and may prevent the wing from properly seating to the car. Second, is the angle of the base itself - I haven't confirmed it, but if its different by even a couple of degrees the wing won't set correctly in its final state even if it does plant without a gap.

Ill be doing an overview of the OEM install for the GTR Roadster shortly - it looks pretty easy overall but parts are turning out to be more of a challenge. The CF wing is on backorder at the moment and coming straight from the AMG Factory. ETA right now is first week of August.

Its been a battle getting a wing from Mercedes. I originally placed my order in May and its finally arriving next week. Ive had everything else except the CF spoiler, brake light (they dont swap over either) and some other minor items. The swap out is pretty simple - probably a lot easier than the couple because its just a matter of pulling the trunk liner and digging in - takes about 90 min with care and attention to get it to what the pictures show.

The base had to be redone to fill in the reverse light recess. I had thought that I could put the brake light in there but it isn't the same size and would have been a LOT more trouble than it looks to do that and then opt for the coupe wing. Also, I haven't been able to verify, but I believe the mounting bracket location is different than the couple so the wings don't swap out! From here its a matter of wiring the third brake light and then it's done. From what I can tell, its the only option if you want to put any kind of wing on a Roadster. And, supply of these wings will be tough - 3 months with no stock globally, and I'm not sure how many they made for stock. Get em while you can if this is route you take!

They originally sent me the black CF version that isn't actually offered for sale and doesn't come with end caps - not sure how it happened but it was miss labelled - good for a test fit though!
