Question for PRO owners

Quick question -

I notice that in individual mode I can configure the suspension to ‘master’; however, in sport+ and Race they use ‘pro’ suspension setting.

I thought Race setting was supposed to switch to master as well.

Also, has anyone played with the coil over settings yet?

Thanks

Sadly I haven't played with my settings too much yet, will check that tomorrow and give some feedback!

Thanks!

I am curious what you see when you set it into RACE mode. If you see PRO like me or MASTER.

Also, the small manual that came specific to the PRO only came in French for me...so...that is quite useless.

My PRO also says (PRO) instead of MASTER.

Mine is also a Canadian Car. (VANCOUVER, BC)

Sweet keep us posted! I'm going to Area27 with my Pro on the 25th of July.

Right on. I was there 2 weeks back. Car is built for that track. First time in this car and it’s been 2 years or so since I’ve driven it.

Got down to 2:17.02 - lots of seconds left to shave off. Last session I only did 3 laps and they were back to back 2.17 for the two hot laps.

Enjoy!

I don’t have a Pro, but have you tried Switching to ‘Race’ then holding down the ESC button until it’s completely’Off’? Perhaps it will switch to ‘Master’ then?

This is 100% accurate.

Thank you. I had no idea that turning ESC completely off affected so many things on the car.

@jn66 I have the same options. Tried it today and definitely felt like the car was more aggressive in PRO & Master. I have the RENNTECH EVM so it seemed to override that button for the exhaust in the master/pro modes. Otherwise, sounds amazing with the flaps open and Race mode.

Right on.

I have another track day booked on the 17th then 27th. I’ll get into the master setting then. Only driven it on the track in ‘pro’ setting.

Pretty sure that mine is set to master, but I will have to double check now. I run on the second red TC light and that is more than enough for me at this time.
Car is quite capable of fully rotating at that setting
Also, if you have not noticed; if you are hitting the limiter on your TC setting all the indicators (yellow & red) will flash white.

Haha.

I just started playing with it full off and dial on. I was just running the Sport TS previously in race mode. Certainly a good amount of difference using the knob and I suspect I'll find better tire wear and some improved lap times.

fun ones.
You can only put it into Master when the traction is set to sport.

I spent ages trying to decipher what AMG Dynamics actually does. Best description was from and AMG tech at MB world that it adjusts the delay time of the TC kicking in. So its the window you ahve for sorting any issues out yourself before the car does it for you.

We spent a long time with damper settings and shims on my car. I can't remember the camber settings although the support will if you're interested. Damper settings was probably 2-3 clicks + on all settings as standard then adjusted from there to suit the track.

I found probably 3 seconds just with setup on the car at my local track.

Thanks!

I have not yet played with the manual suspension settings front or back. Figured we would get a manual with the car that explained it...of course we didn't though.

I'll play around with them next Friday.

3 seconds is a lot to find! That's huge.
