AMG Gts ticking on cold start
Since a week i'm the proud owner of a 2015 AMG GTS with 37k original km's on it.
When i start the car with a cold engine, i can hear a ticking noise. Off course there are many topics about this, but most seem to be different. My ticking noise cant be heard in the engine bay, but only from besides and under the car. After 5 minutes it disapears when the engine is warmer.
Below i posted 2 video's. On of the ticking sound, and one of the engine, wich seems to sound quite normal.
Does somebody have an idea if this is normal? Or should i have it checked?
My E55 ticked, and most of the cars I've owned tick and I've always put it down to normal lifter noise
Wouldnt a pulley noise stay when the engine is warmer? And a lifter and injector tick would be noticable under the hood also maybe.
I was thinking maybe a small leak in the exhaust manifold?

I am waiting on an estimate now. For a 'normal car' i wouldnt be too conserned but i think this one will cost a fortune. I read somehwere it is a carbonfibre shaft.

in the US there was a recall on the driveshaft I believe due to the bonding failing, not sure what country you are in but may be worth checking
