apparently the answer is no, but outside of coding, Im not sure why.
There is an indy option that allows you to move the cluster to a digital S class - just do a search. Its been asked before.

But in seriousness, some upgrade mods are too much headache and hassle. For coding, wiring, installation, and programming purposes it would be better off to get a new model year with the mods you really desire.

Just to be clear
I’m not doing it, I think it’s absurd to do so in my opinion. I love my car exactly as it is. When the time comes, I will move on to the next one with very fond memories.

Suggesting that you should just buy a new car instead of the mod though....thats really coming from a 'troll under the bridge'. Upgrades and their value are all in the eye of the beholder.

I've been shopping used GT Rs and following this post, but apparently am oblivious to the differences between the 2018s and current generation when it comes to interior appointments. What are the differences between the two that make this topic such a worthwhile consideration? Are we simply talking aesthetics or are there some key functional differences?

From there it would be true to add that there are some enhancements in the functions of the gauge cluster. For example, moving to digital such as in race mode it has a very distinct shift light for redline shifts etc - half the gauge cluster will flash red, rather than the tiny indicators in the analog version. The exterior headlights are different and there are some aero trim pieces added in the front too. Overall, very subtle.

Having had both analog (2018 GT) and digital (2020 GTA) I liked the analog a lot better. Much easier to use a lot of the related functions as well. Digital makes things easier for designers by removing buttons and adding complicated electronics.
