Installed my new wing

Hey fam.

Just finished installing my new wing. This is a Paktechz carbon wing, and I trimmed my OEM spoiler to fit. Carbon weave looks great, but I did have a lot of issues with my brackets. My brackets were cross threaded by the factory and they even tried to install a Helicoil in one of the spots that connects the two brackets together. Needless to say it didnt work, so I ended up getting mine welded together and I like the end result.

My OEM wing still works at the moment. I have a side project where I wanted to make it into an air brake, but I have been busy elsewhere. I also wish I knew what magic Ronac did in his delete kit so I can temporarily disable without a warning. Sadly, the $150 isn’t something I have laying around to purchase for a temp use.

I know of one other person who installed this wing and didnt have fitment issues with the brackets like I did. I guess I was just lucky..... lol

I have some pics and video. Another person just posted their install of the wing on 1.12.2021 on YouTube tho. My install is a little different however.

I don't know what it is, but it doesn't look homogeneous.

Nice motor. But made ugly by fitting the scafolding to the rear trunk,, sorry my thoughts. If Mercedes had made a fast car to have a down pull on the back end item it would be on there from new.

Interesting. I mean, it is technically smaller than what they put on the Pro and Black versions.... But with that said, Mercedes doesn’t own the car. I do, And I like it

Great job with the install. Admittedly though, while the wing itself looks good, the car needs a some more aggressive aero to pull it off!
