transmission service
Has anyone with a GT R or GT C serviced their transmission at the dealership? If so, at what mileage and how much were you charged? I'm creeping up on 33k miles on my GT C.

2012 Mercedes C63 amg
I have a 2016 amg gts, just changed my transmission fluid and clutch gear oil. Dealer charged me around $800 CAD. My car has 32k km as of the transmission service. I know they are due at every 60k km, but I did not want to risk it given how much our clutch slips and low speeds and how much I've launched the car XD

@xerial That sounds like a very reasonable dealer. Where in Canada? I just got my 2016 GTS and I am sure my local dealers will want to gouge whenever the time comes, so I plan to go to an indy. Though I have 25K km's and if 60K is when this is supposed to be done I likely won't even have the car for that long.

My dealer quoted me 900 to do it. I eneded up doing it myself for about 400 in fluids and have extra fluid for the next change.

I’ve replaced the transmission filter and fluid on my 2001 SL500, my GLK350 and my E350. I plan on doing this service on my new-to-me 2018 GTS. I assume I will need the transmission fluid, filter, stretch transmission pan bolts. Does the GT have a plastic tube inside the pan to set the transmission fluid level? Is the idea to get the transmission pan temp to 80 degrees C? Any tips are appreciated.

I used the adaptor for the fill on the transmission (mb part # below that basically gets the "fill" above the pan lip, @katie22 made a tube and grommet to do the same thing she posted in another channel). I did the transmission and differentials at the same time. I don't think the filter is required to be changed depending on milage, the filter I found here - https://go4trans.com/filter-7dcl750/
I did mine at 30k since the GTS was 4 years old. I got the Ravenol DCT-F3 from another member but they have it on Amazon too.
