Saw this badass wing riser on one of the GTR on YouTube

Does anyone know any shop that can replicate or make that riser? Tried to ask the content owner but he doesn't want to share.

That would be easy to fabricate. In fact it would be easy to fab up an adjustable set up. Find a metal shop that does fabrication. All they have to do is build a support for the wing and one for the base. A good one should be happy to do something like this for minimal money. My preferred material is either 7075 t6 aluminum or 6val ti just for strength. Aluminum would probably be best as it’s cheaper and strong enough.
The fact that the guy doesn’t want to share makes him a bit of a jerk. So if this is your car and you’re unwilling to help another forum user, maybe don’t ever ask others for help for yourself.
By the way after looking at the extender. It looks like they just went straight up. I’m quite sure they did “0” wind testing on that design. When you go up, depending on the back slope of the cars design you have to adjust the pitch of the wing. Because the air at 3 inches that flows off the back of the trunk is much different than it is 4 or 5 inches higher.
A kragen wing on a Honda that won’t see more than 90 miles per hour on the freeway is a lot different that a car capable of 200 mph plus using an untested wing design on the rear tail. If you can make it adjustable, do so.

Would be even more impressive to get something like the tikt wing support fabbed up:

Tikt Performance makes some risers.

Does it improve anything or just cosmetic? I'd prefer to pay a bit extra for the Tikt item assuming they rigorously tested it verses the untested thing from a fab shop. I'd hate to appear in court and explain that I wanted to save some money and that is why the motorcyclist was decapitated after my wing flew off at 70 mph. And yeah that is exactly the type of luck I have

Hi,
Tikt certainly has a high price, but the kit does not only consist of 2 risers.
It also consists of 2 stainless steel reinforcements that are attached to the tailgate and go up to the lower mounts of the riser.
The original base plate of the wing also has to be heavily processed. Is already complex and you hardly see anything of it.
But you have a solid connection from the tailgate to the wing. Find the construction, well solved.
Since the swing arm is higher up, the flow is better against it, i.e. more power is applied to it.In addition, mechanically more lever arm.
My personal opinion:
The original base plate will not go along with that. At least not at high speed.
Tikt even has larger wings, which should certainly introduce even more force. Even with these, the kit holds up at high speeds.
Would sleep more comfortably with the Tikt risers than with simple elevations.
Kind regards
Stenzel

FYI
Renntech has this kit
https://www.renntechmercedes.com/ind...xt-1328-detail
albeit it comes with its own wing.

i would like to purchase the Tiki risers but can't seem to find a place to purchase them. i have contacted TIKt hoping they can help me purchase them but i haven't heard back yet. IF anyone knows how to purchase these i would appreciate the link. I went on their site and they don't have a cart so im assuming they only sell to wholesalers.

Yeah, TiKT doesn't do themselves any favors by not making it easy to deal with them (at least not from North America).
Send them an email. For clarity, check the English to German translation and back again using https://www.deepl.com/Translator, because that's what they seem to use. Expect to jump through multiple hoops when making payment as it seems to require a bank transfer. You'd think they'd set up some type of e-store capability. I'd bet they'd get more business if they did.
On the plus side, in my limited experience (brake-cooling ducts and brake pads), their products and support are excellent.

A couple of years ago, I got TIKT brake ducts through Vengeance Racing in Atlanta - these guys are mostly a Corvette shop. David was easy to work with. Contact info below.
