Not sure what the market is like in Europe, and the starting msrp is higher there with VAT and all, but still I say under not including buyer's fees.

Sometimes with charity prices can go nuts- I've done it a few times. So I am also on the way over 477K price. If I had a track nearby I'd go for it but even Laguna at less than 200 miles isn't something I have time to visit - unfortunately... I may start a thread asking for anyone's input in Nor or So Cal area's experiences with track days etc. I could try to get on board before I move to London end of year.
Also, I went to the website discussing DINAMICA suede and I get that they treat it with chems etc but it is kind of funny to me that they are using old T shirts- I was wondering if the armpit smell was me or the car

What was the Corvette C8 selling for at Charity Auction?
If I remember correctly it was over a $1million ?

Most likely that price is the hammer price.
So add 15% up to 200K Euro, and 12.5% anything over 200K Euro
410K euros + 56K euros (buyers' premium) + VAT on the buyer's premium.

Not a big issue in the short term for people that love the car and the brand, but I hope the flippers are now concerned.

No one knows where the values will go with this car short, middle, or long term ... but this result is meaningless to anyone trying to gage the US market.
This forum and those who come offering cars and allocations are actual a better indicator of current market value until cars on the ground start going on sale in the US and real data points get created.

Maybe the next few sales are stronger; could have been a lot of factors why this car sold for what it did and will perhaps be an outlier.
I am not going to bet the farm on one data point either. We shall see when more cars start to change hands.
