TRADED MY2016 GTS for 2018 GTC
So I got the itch and traded my 2016 GTS with 21k for a 2018 GTC with 8k. What can I expect from the different aero, rear wheel steering, wide body, transmission and HP difference. I am not a track star but I am an aggressive street driver and may occasionally cruise at higher speeds... but well within the limits officer!!!
The wide stance, options, and loaded carbon fiber bits swayed me to the dark side...
thanks

You're going to be very hard pressed to feel any difference under normal driving conditions, except maybe a tad bit more pep, assuming your GTS wasn't tuned, and you may be able to feel the rear wheel steering under certain circumstances.

MBWorld Fanatic!
All manufacturers do a great job differentiating models In same class to generate ridiculous price increases.
GT GTC GTS TURBO ETC.
The reality is that the core car is the same, And most of the difference is in the factory tuning of the engine.
The GTC gets you a wider *** for more traction and steering. That’s about it.

You will notice the rear wheel steering. Makes the car feel more agile IMO.
Also depending on your prior GTS options you may now have the DPP and some other goodies.

I was offered a Black Series but passed. That is how this whole thing started...
Thanks all for the input. I just felt I was done with the GTS and wanted something newer. I also love the round buttons in the v8 shape on the console. Just seems right.

Does the GTC have softer ride/shocks than the other GT models?

Other threads are reporting loss of turbo boost for the 2016 GT. Do the 2018 models have better reliability?
My history: 2001-SLK 230 Kompressor, 2003-SLK 280, 2008-SLK350, 2011-SLK55, 2013-SL 63. Now considering the AMG-GT or GTC.
