Greg, 38 years old, from France (near Paris)
Passionate by sports car, I have had several Fiat Coupé turbo in the past. (16v turbo and 20V turbo PLUS)
I have a small Fiat Seicento only for race track, swapped with Turbo engine coming from 500 Abarth 180cv, added a full custom programmable device (Speeduino)
In few years, I also purchased a VW EOS V6 engine (250hp) in Individual version and it was a really good car to cruise.
And in same time, I had a Chrysler Crossfire SRT6 (2006 version) with AMG SLK32 plateform. It was a really good car, and the supercharged engine was really performant.

Since a long time, I had a dream to realize before my 40 years, and for a long time, I searched what could be the best car to completely change.
My choice was in first the Porsche GT4 , but at the beginning of 2021, after a lot a reporting and mediatisation, the price really increased and became not accessible.
And the AMG GTS was in my head but I thought it was really too much money ... But good surprised when I started to search on international website.
In May 2021, I sold my EOS, and in Oct 2021 my Crossfire. to stay concentrate on the best :

I searched a AMG GTS 510, and the graal if possible was the Edition1 .
After several exchanges and I decided to go to germany to see a first : Edition1 Gray, full option inside carbon plate, ceramic brakes, ... But story was not clear and already has a accident / repaint at the back (the seller never told me and perhaps not aware)
Several other discussions, but one of them, for sell in Italy but with German titles, was pretty nice, in my fork of price.
After 8 days to discuss and organise the flight trip to go to meet the guy (private) , I stayed in Venise place during 2 days (waiting the bank transfer) and go at home by the road !

Congrats, Grib. Your car is beautiful. Well done. The sound system is the best I've ever heard in a car. Make sure you play Ultra HD with surround / 360. But the real joy is the sound of the engine. I wish my 2018 GTC Edition 50 had your fixed wing. Really completes the car. Enjoy every minute with the new car!

Yes, it seems it’s a good version. For me the best and even if I have the rear tires to change, and in 5.000-8.000kms the front brake disks, the rest is safe, fully original and never repaint.
only wheels are few scratches all around the tires but not really viewable.

 

Strange does this car have a carbon roof? I assumed all Edition 1 models had this.

 

You are right, the EDITION1 has the carbon roof in standard , but panoramic roof is still in option. And mine have.
(VIN decoder has said all the options on it, completely as oem from the factory &#128519
