Anyone have success with Cete Automotive Active Valve Control?

I have the renntech module and it’s night and day. You just press the “open” button and it remains full open even after the car turns off which enables a proper cold start sound.

I decided to make a quick video after running out to lunch. Car sounds amazing on cold start but I think the valve mod really shows itself on warm start. 2018 GT-C edition 50
start of video: warm start stock valve position
0:26 valves opened with module
0:42 warm start with valves open with module
1:04 valves returned to stock position
1:12 valves open with module
To me there is also a huge difference in the daily driving. The car sounds way deeper and grumbly without being too loud at normal driving speeds. I’m guessing anyone who installed a module and doesn’t see this result either has a defective module or didn’t install it correctly. The ASR/Renntech module keeps the valves open all the time and I never have to touch the exhaust button.

Can someone share the installation instructions? My Cete module showed up today but no instructions for GT in the download section on their site or in the box. Looks like just a plug in for CAN, ground ring and another plug but lord knows where I find the connections…. Thanks in advance.

you just remove the passenger footwell cover. then it’s very straight forward plug and play.
I got the advanced user version. Can use app on phone. you can set so valve is open on key on or closed. you can also set different RPM you want them to open at. lower or higher. it’s pretty cool.

Wait, this is for the CETE module or which one? I am not aware of the CETE having any type of phone app?

This is a little confusing. Sounds like the mobile app allows you to lock the valves open at start up regardless of driver setting (because driver settings aren't sticky in North America)?

2020 Mercedes E63S AMG
If anyone in this thread is looking for a CETE Active Valve Controller for E63s/E63/E53/GT63S/GT53, I have got one but looking to sell it as I put an exhaust on my W213 E63s and no longer need it. I'm new to this website but if any interested, feel free to reply or private message me! (I will need to figure out how to get to PM though)
